Basically, this is a heavy duty rubber coated nylon fabric and is supplied in rolls of 91 cms width x 18 mtrs length.
These rolls are joined together length wise to form one big square. These helipad membranes are placed as landing pads in case of Vertical Take and Landing (VTO aircrafts) that need to take off and land on muddy slush, soft marshy grounds, deserts, etc.
