Air Cells

An Air cell is a sealed envelope made out of high resistant Polyamide fabric coated with synthetic elastomer.

The air cell is fitted in the conservator by means of two straps and a connecting flange. Due to its inflation and deflation the air cell breathes without permitting the outside air to get in contact with the transformer oil.

Advantages :

Eliminates oxidation and hydrolysis of oil due to air contact.
Offers excellent resistance to Oxygen, Ozone, Nitrogen and humidity.
Excellent impermeability to oil and gases.
Long service life
Prevents any free volume in the conservator

The coating elastomer and fabric composite has been designed to meet the above requirements without affecting the oil quality.

Air cell dimensions are normally worked out based on the dimension of the Cylindrical Conservator namely Diameter and the length of conservator.

The Air cell has 3 principal dimensions. Length, Width and distance between loops/ strap.

Gas Holder Balloon

Designed for auxiliary storage requirement of industrial gas producing units.

Our Gas Holder Balloons are fabricated out of high tenacity polyamide fabric matrix impregnated with compatible polymer on the inside with Hypalon for weather abrasion and UV resistance. This is a collapsible intermediate storage tank for any industrial gas prior to bottling under pressure.

Being made of very tough rubberized fabric it is collapsible and very lightweight and is installed hanging just below the ceiling saving valuable space. We can design and deliver Gas Holder Balloons of all dimensions and specifications.
Being fabric it does not corrode (unlike metal tanks), and is maintenance free, giving a long trouble free life.
Our Balloons are a perfect substitute to the conventional metal tanks currently used at intermediate stage

Inflatable Shelter

The Unirub Inflatable Shelter provides an instant and effective shelter under any circumstances in any terrain.

It is easily erected because of built-in supporting ribs, instead of the conventional rigid pole structure. Two persons can inflate the ribs and complete erection in 20 minutes, even with a IOW pressure blower. A foot pump is also provided for contingencies.

Another design feature that simplifies the assembly, is its one piece construction. The floor being an integral part ensures strong water and dust proof joints. This enables the shelter to be moved even after erection if necessary, Four to six men can lift the inflated shelter easily. The Unirub Shelter can be packed into a small compact package and is thus easy to store; transport and can even be heli-dropped. The shelter being modular can be joined directly with another or many others to form a larger unit. As such, the size is flexible.

The ease and speed with which it can be set up makes the Unirub shelter suitable for a variety applications, such as :

Flexible Tanks

The FLEXI TANK is a portable collapsible container primary meant for transportation and storage of materials in liquid and powder forms. Possession of the FLEXI TANK enables general purpose haulers to use their trucks for carrying liquids and complete in the tanker haulage business. Rigid bodied, tankers normally travel empty on their return tourneys thus wasting fuel and other resources without any economic gain. Further as the FLEXI TANK is much lighter than the conventional tank mounted on the truck, the actual payload is significantly increased.

FLEXI TANK is fabricated out of high tenacity polyamide fabric matrix impregnated with compatible polymers to suit a wide range of applications. It can be used for carrying water, oils (both industrial and edible), most acids and alkalis in the collapsed folded condition. It occupies hardly any space and can be conveniently stored over the driver's cabin of the truck when not in use. It comes complete with a leak plugging system ond self repair kit to take care of emergencies.

The above inflatable Boats are being manufactured for the Army and Navy and Leisure Markets

These Boats are fabricated from the core of a heavy duty nylon fabric, coated with high grade synthetic polymer on both the sides. This fabric is unaffected by sea water, oil, petrol or marshy waste floating on river surfaces and has a very high abrasion resistance and is totally impermeable. It is unaffected by long exposures to sunlight. Heavy Duty extruded rubber strakes are fitted around the boat to protect against chafe and reinforcing strips placed in areas vulnerable to wear. Each boat has, independent Buoyancy Chambers (up to 6 in the larger boats). With a wide beam and a low centre of gravity, the Inflatable Boat is exceptionally stable. Designed to be assembled for launching in minutes (with the help of a Foot Pump provided), the Unirub boat can go anywhere and can be stored anywhere. They are light and can be carried very easily. These boats are used by assault troops for Rescue, Reconnaissance and Off Shore Patrolling

Rubberised Foundation Cloth

Helipad Membrane

Basically, this is a heavy duty rubber coated nylon fabric and is supplied in rolls of 91 cms width x 18 mtrs length.

These rolls are joined together length wise to form one big square. These helipad membranes are placed as landing pads in case of Vertical Take and Landing (VTO aircrafts) that need to take off and land on muddy slush, soft marshy grounds, deserts, etc.
